Who are we ?
WIO - GSN is an organization wich allows to develop international cooperation concerning sustainable development.
That’s why we decided to create an interactive platform, a professional social network where people can share skills about sustainable development in West Indian Ocean :
Sustainable land planning
Sustainable architecture and construction
Research and innovation concerning rural development and sustainable agriculture
Transportation and travels
Adaptation to climate change
Integrated coastal zone management or Integrated management of sea and coast
Natural disaster
Biodiversity asset management (land or sea)
Optimization of renewable energy and energy efficiency
And transverse activities :
NICT, quality, HRM, collective knowledge, training, communication, etc.…
Our Goals
To promote expertise and skills in Indian Ocean
To encourage exchange of experiences and good practices: share information, capitalize knowledge or practices on the WIO – GSN platform for the benefit of countries in the region and improve decision making.
To contribute to set up the assembly project and to implement regional cooperation projects.
To connect projects owners, sustainable development actors with strike force of academic world (scientific, students …) and expert consultant of West Indian Ocean.
